- Hi Mickey!
This is a great question and the answer is absolutely! I am often asked this question by many guests, because who doesn't want the best deal on their Walt Disney World vacation? If any special offer becomes available after booking either your room-only reservation or a Magic Your Way package that you are eligible for, you can indeed have the discount applied to your reservation.
If you have already paid the balance of your package, you will be refunded the difference to whatever form of payment your used to originally purchase your package. If you happen to use Disney Gift Cards to pay for your package, make sure to hang onto them just in case as the amount will be refunded back to the gift card. For room-only reservations or for Magic Your Way Packages that still have a balance, the discount will be adjusted from your total amount due.
Disney's Special Offers are available throughout the year and one thing to keep in mind, especially with Disney's Free Dining Promotion, is that many of these discounts are very popular. Only a select amount of rooms and room types will be set aside for each promotion, so you will want to be very proactive when keeping up with the latest special offers. Waiting too long to apply a special offer could result in having to change resorts or room type in order to take advantage of these special savings.Remember, that sometimes certain resorts and room types will be completely excluded from any type of discount.
I hope this helps, Mickey (love the name by the way) and please visit me again if you have anymore questions.
