Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Does the Disney Travel Insurance cover airline ticket cancellation and trip delays not purchased from Disney? I'm having a bit of a hard time deciding whether to spend another $640 for insurance. Thanks again!

- Hi there, Carolyn!
If you purchase coverage directly from the Walt Disney Travel Company, take a look at the Land/Air package.
Per their Web site, the coverage includes:
Land/Air Program - $75.95* per Adult
*Children (Ages 17 and under) are included FREE when all traveling adults (ages 18 and over) purchase travel insurance.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption
Covers you up to the total cost of the trip if you must cancel or interrupt your trip due to certain covered reasons. Also, includes coverage for:
Airfare purchased as part of a package, through a travel agency or on your own (except if your flight is changed, cancelled or delayed by airline).
Employee termination or layoff through no fault of your own after the effective date of coverage if you are an active employee with the same employer for at least one year. (this coverage is not available to residents of Washington and Pennsylvania).
Being called into active military duty or having your leave revoked within 10 days of departure date.
There is a separate .pdf on that page for residents of your home state. Make sure to double-check the terms and conditions applicable before you purchase.
Coverage may be purchased up to the time of final payment and becomes effective upon our receipt of the payment of the premium. Your certificate of insurance will be included in your travel documents. If you do not receive a certificate, or if you have any questions, please call 800-826-3899 and a Travel Guard representative will assist you
Happy (and safe!) travels!
