Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- What is the best time of the year to hit the lightest crowds and get the best deals at the resort hotels?

- Disney's room rates change from season to season, and I'm not talking about your typical winter, spring, summer, and fall seasons. Their nightly rates are the lowest during "value" season. Generally speaking, value season coincides with periods that see lower crowd levels. January, for example, is a nice time to visit (as long as you avoid the first week of the month) because you'll see fewer guests in the parks and a lower total on your hotel bill. The first two weeks of February are also a safe bet usually. If you don't mind higher temperatures and the likelihood of afternoon thunderstorms, you might also plan to visit during August, or September. Or, if you'd like to be sure to catch a glimpse of the magnificent holiday decorations, the first two weeks of December are a great option. Hope that helps!
