Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Planning our first trip to WDW - children will be 8 and 6. Is there a resort that is over all quieter than another - thinking ahead to getting kids to sleep in the excitement of it all.
  • - Asked by Elizabeth from Massachusetts on 1/28/2008
  • Hi Elizabeth! This is a new one for me! I am fortunate that my family could sleep through an earthquake, riot, and fire. I'm not joking about the fire. I had to wake my family up one night years ago despite the hardwired alarms going off and the house filling up with smoke!

I did some research in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World(a great resource) and they give the following resorts an "A" for sound.

    Disney's All Star Music
    Disney's All Star Sports
    Walt Disney World Dolphin
    Disney's Old Key West
    Disney's Port Orleans Riverside

I can personally vouch for Port Orleans and Old Key West. They are very quiet.  I hope you all have a restful time!
