Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are new to the Disneyworld experience, not having been there in over 25 years. We have our reservations booked for the Polynesian for Jan. 18 through the 23rd and have picked out our colors for our magic bands. What is next in the process?

  • Hi Judith - so much as changed since you last visited including the introduction of the new MagicBand technology.  It's great that you have customized your MagicBands - you are well on your way!  If you haven't already, I would suggest you make your FastPass+ selections.  You are currently allowed three FastPass+ selections per day.  I personally made my selections for the busier part of the day and opt to wait in the stand-by lines when they are typically shorter.  However, make your selections based on what works for your family.

Also, not directly related to the MagicBands but in case you didn't know, you can make your dining reservations up to 180 days in advance.  It is highly recommended to do so as the more popular restaurants to fill up quickly.

I hope your vacation is truly magical, Judith!  Please let us know if we can assist you further.
