Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Ok first time planning!! Would it be better to go over President's Day weekend from the 14-20 of February, or week of Easter (which is our Spring Break)? Also, 4 or 5 day pass? I have noticed a lot of people say Magic Kingdom really needs 2 days?

  • Kirsten, I'm so glad you came to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to help you plan your first visit to Mickey.

Consider February for you visit. You will find families at Walt Disney World enjoying winter break and the long weekend during the week of Presidents' Day, but the crowds are quite reasonable. Easter week is one of the most popular times of the year for families with school age children to visit the parks, so if you pick a spring break visit expect more people and longer lines.

Asking a Moms Panelist if you should go for a five day pass or a four day one is like asking Cinderella's stepsisters if they would like a chance to try on the glass slipper. There is only one possible answer. Just like Drizella and Anastasia will only say "yes, hand me that shoe", a Disney Mom will always say pick the five day ticket. You can NEVER have enough park days, so if your budget allows, spring for the extra day of zooming down Splash Mountain, sailing with pirates, and meeting Disney princess.
