Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We will be staying at the Carribbean Resort at Walt Disney World for one week starting November 16, 2013. When do the decorations go up at the parks and resort hotels? Also what do you recommend that should not be missed this will be our first visit.

  • Hello Patty, welcome back to the Mom's Panel.

November is a great month to visit Walt Disney World, as all resorts and parks start their decorations during the first two weeks.
Most decorations will be completed by Thanksgiving weekend and most special events will have also started by then.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off the holiday season on November 8.  This is a very unique and fun experience not to be missed during your vacation.
The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights starts during the same day at Hollywood Studios

The next day, November 9, Animal Kingdoms welcomes the holidays with Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade.

Epcot's Candlelight Processional is the last Christmas special event to start, on the night of November 29.

During your visit the Christmas spirit will be all over the place, plus crowd levels should be moderate or low - a big plus on a Disney vacation.

Try visiting different Deluxe Resorts to dine at their restaurants and to enjoy their Christmas decorations.

Other awesome experiences for your son include The Pirates League and the Jedi Training Academy.

Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Christmas vacation at Walt Disney World.
Hope to hear again from you.

    Miguel
