Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello! We are taking our 3 daughters (10, 9 &6) for their first visit to WDW from Feb 17-26, really looking forward to it. Already booked a room at POR. Any advice on lines, crowds, weather? Love Moms Panel!

- Hi there Maria!
It makes my friends here at the Moms Panel and me so happy to hear that you enjoy visiting with us here at the Moms Panel. We love you too!
February is a fabulous time to visit Walt Disney World as the lines are much shorter than you would encounter only a month later as spring break visitors hit the parks. Nonetheless, it is a great idea to arrive at your theme park of choice at opening time each day. That's when the lines will be the shortest all day. Be sure to hit each park's most popular attractions first. For instance, in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you'll want to head to Toy Story Mania first. At Epcot, go to Soarin' in the land pavilion. At the Magic Kingdom, I'd head to the New Fantasyland attractions to start your day, and at Disney's Animal Kingdom, be sure to enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris first.
Temperatures in February are mostly mild but I'd plan to have a hooded jacket or sweatshirt on hand for each member of your travel party. An inexpensive, folded-up rain poncho is a useful addition to your backpack as you explore the parks. Short cloud bursts can happen at any time of year in central Florida. It's best to be prepared.
Let us know if you need any additional advice as your plans come together for February. We'd love to help!
Best wishes for a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust,
PS. Have you made any dining reservations for your trip yet? A character dining experience is a must, in my opinion, for first-time visitors to Walt Disney World. If you need more information about this, don't hesitate to ask.
