  • 1st trip to WDW in May/June. Me, DW, DS3, DD7 and grandparents & bro's family. How long to stay? Started out thinking 4-5d, then 6-7d, now at 8 full days. We've read conflicting things. On what basis should we decide how long to stay, assuming money is

    Hi Patrick!

Congratulations on your family's first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Your entire family is going to fall in LOVE with the magic of Disney!

If money is no object, then I would recommend a visit anywhere between 8 to 10 days. That will allow you enough time to experience most of the major attractions, while doing it at a more leisurely pace. If you read my top ten tips for making a Disney vacation even more magical, you'll see that I recommend touring Magic Kingdom at least three full days. Ideally you would dedicate one to two full days to each of the other Disney Theme Parks and Disney Water Parks. In addition, there are Other Walt Disney World Destinations you won't want to miss!

Be sure to read about accommodations for 5 Guests or more before finalizing your plans. Don't forget to come back with all your Disney Vacation planning questions.

Wishing your family a most magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
