Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • What are Magic Bands? Can you take food, snacks and/or drinks into the park for the children?
  • - Asked by Carol from Texas on 3/14/2014
  • Hi, Carol!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Moms Panel!

The new MagicBand is an all-in-one device that can serve as your Park ticket, your FastPass+, and when you stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, it can also act as your room key and so much more! The really cool, colorful wristbands are customizable by choosing your own color and adding a printed name on the inside. MagicBands are currently being tested by a limited number of Guests as a part of MyMagic+.

As far as snacks and drinks go, you are allowed to bring them into the Parks. In fact, we usually pack things like goldfish crackers and craisins to snack on in-between meals. Sometimes we bring sandwiches too. We also bring water bottles that we can refill throughout the day. It's no problem at all.

I hope this helps, Carol! Please feel free to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!

    ~Jackie
