Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- For the Jedi Training in DHS, Do they take the first 12 that sign up for each show or do you sign up for a particular show and then hope to get picked? If the park has early magic hours that day, is it best to be there by 8 in order to get a spot?

- Hi Diane,
Thanks for this great question about Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios. When signing up for Jedi Training Academy, Cast Members will fill in slots in the order of the shows. If I Guest needs to schedule a particular time slot due to lunch or dinner reservations, or a FASTPASS+ time, cast members are willing to work with them. I would say to get to the park as soon as it opens to get a slot for your child. If you happen to visit during one of Walt Disney World's busiest visiting times, Jedi Training Academy sessions are usually increased to ensure that mostly everyone is able to participate sometime during the day. They will also bring out more than one Sith Lord to battle, which allows more than 12 Jedis to train.
If the park has Early Magic Hours, I would say it's best to arrive during opening. You can sign up and hit up Toy Story Mania once you're done!
I hope this answered your question, Diane, Feel free to ask us any other questions you may have prior to your vacation.
Have a fantastical Disney day!
