- Hi, Brandy!
I completely understand that feeling of being overwhelmed by choices for your first family trip to Walt Disney World. Been there! (But you have us to help you, so no worries. :-) )
Take a look at this great post about Traveling with Little Ones in Walt Disney World. You'll find tips on attractions, dining, kids programs and even Baby Care Centers. This is a great place to start.
Once you've booked your stay, consider dining options. Whether you choose to add a Dining Plan or not, your next decision should be selecting Advanced Dining Reservations as the most popular locations may be completely booked 180 days prior to check-in. Fun choices for dining in Walt Disney World include Princess meals at Cinderella's Royal Table (Magic Kingdom) or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Epcot) and character meals at The Crystal Palace (MK) or Chef Mickey's (Disney's Contemporary Resort). Consider lots of buffets, too, as there will be no waiting for food while little tummies are grumbly.
When flying, I often check a box of consumable supplies (diapers, juice boxes, snacks); we'll use up the supplies and can dispose of the box at our hotel. You can also ship items to your own attention at the resort; your package will be waiting for you upon arrival. All of the WDW Resort hotels have laundry facilities, so you might even want to pack lighter, then do some wash while the little ones are swimming or napping. Bring lots of zip-shut baggies which are great for keeping partially-eaten snacks on hand...and lint free.
Send more questions as you plan your trip, Brandy! We love to help!
