Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Been to WDW June of this year, going back December 2009. I read your panel everday. Do you think a guidebook would be good investment or just a waste of money? Which one would you recommend? Thanks again for answering all my questions!

- A huge chunk of my base knowledge of Disney World comes from guide books. I get new copies every year of The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and The Birnbaum Official Guide to Walt Disney World and read them cover to cover. I learn something new with each reading. Seriously, even with my vast personal experience with Disney travel, I still consult the books before every trip. For me, they are well worth the investment. However, if you're unsure, perhaps the best thing to do would be to check some Disney guide books out of your local library. This way you could have time to explore them in depth without any expense.
If you were going to purchase guides, my top two choices for you would be the Unofficial Guide (Testa and Sehlinger) or the Complete Walt Disney World (Neal and Neal). The Unofficial Guide gives exhaustive information about efficient touring and the Complete WDW gives fun behind-the-scenes stories about many of the rides and attractions.
