  • Hi Tanya!

A big congratulations on taking your 1st Walt Disney World vacation! You've picked a fabulous time of year to visit, slightly cooler weather, yummy treats and fall decorations makes this a great time of year to visit. The first thing to remember is that Walt Disney World is huge....I mean really huge,so it is near impossible to see and do everything in just one vacation. The plus side is that you will always be something new to see and do at Walt Disney World every time  you visit.

Based on your dates and the fact you won't have the Park Hopper option, here is what I recommend:

October 21st Magic Kingdom 9am-12am Extra Magic Hours until 2 am,this gives you plenty of time to enjoy the Magic Kingdom.Plus, there will be two showings of Main Street Electrical Parade to give you plenty of chances to see this illuminating parade.I recommend seeing the second showing as it will be slightly less crowded.

    October 22 Animal Kingdom 9am-6pm
    October 23 Hollywood Studios 9am-7:30pm
    October 24 Epcot 9am-9pm

Each park has very popular attractions that I would make sure to grab FastPasses or ,if you are using Disney's new Magic Bands, schedule FastPass+ times. In Magic Kingdom the new Fantasyland is definitely a major stop along the way where you will find most attractions to appease both the adults and children. Two new attractions that are sure to have long lines is Princess Fairytale Hall and Enchanted Tales with Belle. If you have any budding princesses in your group, these are must do's.

I would select your top must do attractions and plan your touring schedule based on your simply can't miss attractions and activities.Tackle those first thing along with attractions that are sure to draw longer lines throughout the day.

I hope this was helpful, Tanya! Please visit me again for more itinerary ideas and advice about your first Walt Disney World vacation.

    Best Wishes!
    Mandy
