Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Planning on camping in an RV for the first time at Fort Wilderness. Any suggestions? We are staying with 2 18 year olds and a 6 year old. Any must haves? Also can we bring a soft sided cooler with drinks and snacks into the park?

- Hello Erik,
Thank you for submitting your question to the DIsney Parks Moms Panel!
While I have not experienced staying at the Fort Wilderness Campsites with an RV, one of my fellow moms has. Check out her useful tips here.
What I can tell you from staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins is that there is so much to do. For your little one, I would definitely recommend the Chip N Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long. This is a fun activity led by a Disney Cast Member where you will find a marshmallow roast around two campfire rings. While this is going on, Chip and Dale make an appearance to visit with guests and sign autographs. For the adults there are so many different recreational activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, waterskiing, and fishing. Lastly, when you visit the parks, you are allowed to bring in a small cooler with drinks and snacks. I do this all of the time as my kids are very picky eaters and its just easier to bring the choice of snacks they prefer!
If I can assist you with any other planning need, please feel free to send me your questions!
