Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Was able to get military tickets also working with AAA. Since we have to show ID getting in can tickets then be put onto our magic card as regular tickets can? Staying at POR plus dining. Can we show ID at hotel instead of park? Want one ticket to use.

  • Hi Joan,

I called Disney's Port Orleans Resort this morning on your behalf to confirm the answer to your ticketing question.  As I suspected, the Cast Member to whom I spoke explained that the theme park tickets you purchased elsewhere (either through AAA or your military base ticket office) cannot be added to your Key to the World cards (room keys).  They must remain separate.  You may want to wear a lanyard with a secure plastic pouch that holds both cards.  That's a convenient way to access both your theme park tickets (to get FASTPASSES, for instance) and your Key to the World cards (which will hold your Disney Dining Plan credits).

Wishing you many magical memories during your upcoming trip!

    Jill

PS.  It never hurts to ask when you check-in at your home resort if it is possible to add your park tickets to your Key to the World cards.  While I think it is unlikely that they will be able to do so, Disney is always making advances and updates to their policies and procedures.
