Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I've noticed in some other large vacation areas in the country that rapid cell phone charging stations have become increasingly popular. Do the Disney Parks also offer this to guests or will we need to plan to return to our resort to charge our phones?

- Hi Steven!
I always need to charge my phone during the day on our Disney Parks vacations. While we typically take a break from the parks each day for a nap or swim, there are some days where I'm touring the parks solo and don't want to leave the parks in order to charge my phone up.
On my last visit to Disneyland Resort, I discovered some great cell phone Charging Lockers in Disneyland Park. They are located right off of Main Street, USA in the locker station. You don't even need to remember to bring your charging cord! There are lockers available with cords for the three most popular smartphones. There are even lockers available with standard outlets in case you want to use your own charger or wish to charge a different type of device. The Charging Lockers cost $2 per hour. I left my phone and external battery inside for two hours and they were ready to go for the rest of the evening! Well worth the $4 I spent!
I am hoping these lockers or similar charging stations make their way to Walt Disney World Resort in the near future. It was definitely awesome to have a place to charge my phone for an hour or two while I experienced attractions and ate!
For now, I carry around a small portable charger to give my phone some juice when I need it in the parks. I have also heard of people leaving their cell phones at Guest Relations locations (you need to bring the charging cord with you) to be charged.
I hope this helps, Steven! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a magical day,
