Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are coming to Walt Disney World April 10-17, 2014. I am a little nervous about the crowds and how long the waits will be for rides. My last visit was during June. Are the crowds in April, comparable to the Summer month of June or worse?

- Hi Michele -
In general, the parks are more crowded when kids aren't in school. I'd expect that particular week in April to be as busy as the end of June/beginning of July.
There are definitely some things you can do to still have an enjoyable experience. Be sure to make your FastPass+ reservations as soon as possible. It's best to make them for the afternoon, when the lines are longer. Then, arrive at the parks when they open and are less crowded. During the busy times, I also like to relax in the late afternoons at the resort - it's a great time to visit the pool. That way, you'll miss the most crowded and hot part of the day.
I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
