Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are coming to Disney January 14-17, 2014. What is the weather like in January?

- Hi Jessica! Nothing works better to snap you out of the post-holiday doldrums than a January trip to Walt Disney World! While January is generally the coolest month at Disney, the average temperatures are still quite comfortable. Daytime highs average in the low 70s, but the nights can be chilly with temperatures in the 40s. While January is not always super warm, it's likely to be sunny since the chance of precipitation is fairly low in that month.
Plan to dress in layers that you can peel off or pile on as needed since the temperature can vary widely. On some January Disney vacations I've been able to wear short sleeves, and on others I've needed a winter coat, so it's best to bring a range of clothing. Don't forget your bathing suit -- the pools are heated at Walt Disney World so you can swim year round!
