Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Traveling to Disney w/5 children. Is it better to stay off site? I am having a difficult time finding a resort/hotel that will fit us all comfortably. Any suggestions.

- Hi there Emily!
How exciting you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation! As a mom of four children, I completely understand your challenge in finding a room that will accommodate your entire family comfortably. With that being said, I definitely believe the perks and convenience you will find by staying on property outweigh the challenges of finding the perfect room set-up. Guests that stay at a Walt DIsney World Resort will receive complimentary transportation, complimentary airport transportation also know as Disney's Magical Express, charging privileges, complimentary package delivery, Disney DIning Plan, Extra Magic Hours, not to mention the attention to detail and amazing customer service that Disney is known for. We also love being able to easily travel back to our resort for a much needed midday break or nap. If you have a child in your travel party that is under the age of three, you can technically stay in a guest room that will accommodate six guests, such as the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and Disney's All-Star Music Resort. The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort also accommodate six guests plus one child under the age of three. Follow this link to learn more about room accommodations that sleep more than five guests. My family of six usually stays in a Two Bedroom Villa at one of the Disney Deluxe Villas, which can sleep up to eight or nine guests depending on the specific property. You may also want to consider booking two guest rooms at one of the Value or Moderate Resorts. I recommend calling the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) W-DISNEY to speak to one the friendly cast members. They will be able to assist you in finding the best room configuration that also fits your budget. Please don't hesitate to write me back if I can further assist you. Best wishes for a magical trip!
