Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I have three children ages 18 months through 6 yrs old, myself and my fiance. What is the best option for us? We would love to stay 1 week, and enjoy a very magical experience.

- Hi Heather! How exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World vacation for your children at this age!
You don't mention your budget, and that is a very big piece of the puzzle to have in planning your vacation. The great thing about Walt Disney World is that you can have that "magical experience" on ANY budget!
I would recommend that you start on the Walt Disney World website and check out all of the amazing packages available. If you click here, it will take you to the page that allows you to type in some information, such as the dates you wish to visit, the number in your party, and other personal preferences. You will then be directed to some great vacation packages that meet your needs. You may book your reservations up to 499 days in advance.
Since you will be traveling with young children, I would recommend that you build in plenty of rest times throughout your week. Seven days is plenty of time to enjoy all four of the parks at your leisure. Allow times for the children to get their naps, go swimming in the resort pools, and to just enjoy exploring and playing at your resort of choice. You shouldn't feel guilty if you don't go to the parks everyday because there is so much to see and do outside the parks - Downtown Disney & Marketplace, putt putt, water sports, character meals at the resorts, children's activities, playgrounds, etc...
Finally, I recommend that you consider making advanced reservations for special activities to truly make it a "very magical experience": Character Dining experiences, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Princess makeovers for the girls, Pirate's League Makeovers for the boys, water craft rentals, etc...
I hope your vacation is truly a very Magical Experience!
