Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi Amanda! Thank you so much for answering my question! Can you suggest things I can plan for my 13 yr old son? I have many wonderful ideas for my 7 yr old daughter but I'm having a difficult time finding things for my teenage son. Thanks for you help!

- Hi Amanda! We've just returned from a week at Walt Disney World and we experienced several activities that ranked high on my thirteen-year-old son's list!
If your son is a bit of a thrill-seeker, consider Parasailing at the Contemporary Resort. My family went parasailing for the first time last week and it was a fun and thrilling experience! My daughter and I did a tandem flight, and because my son met the 130 lb weight limit he parasailed alone. It's really exciting and the view of Walt Disney World is incredible from high above Bay Lake.
My husband and son also rented a Sea Raycer and they had a blast zipping around the Seven Seas Lagoon.
Another fun activity that my son loved was bowling at Splitsville at Downtown Disney. Although my kids aren't big bowlers at home, they keep talking about our trip to Splitsville as one of the highlights of our vacation. We really enjoyed this luxury bowling alley and the food is really tasty.
The indoor interactive theme park DisneyQuest is always a big hit with boys this age too. Your son would love designing his own roller coaster and then taking a ride on it at CyberSpace Mountain, and there are video games galore.
Finally, consider buying your son Steve Barrett's Hidden Mickey book before your vacation. One of my son's favorite activities is searching for Hidden Mickeys around Walt Disney World.
Hope some of these ideas help you plan an amazing time for your son! Please come visit me again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'd love to help!
