Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Our family is going for 2Days to WDW. Plan to hit all 4 parks in 2 days going to hotel pool in between. I have a very active 11-yr boy. We want a pool with a fun slide etc. Prefer 2 queen beds. We will have car. What mod resort recommend? and isplan

For a variety of reasons I often recommend one of the Port Orleans resorts when people ask for recommendations in the Moderate class of resort. In this case I am going to break out from that, and recommend you stay at Coronado Springs. Here are a few reasons why;
- Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs are more centrally located to the overall Walt Disney World property, so you are going to typically going get to your parks faster.
- Coronado Springs has queen size beds, unlike the Caribbean Beach which has doubles.
As it happens, I have stayed there more than at any other moderate, and I am a fan. I love the room quality since the recent renovation. I think the pool is a fun area for kids of many ages, but increasingly better for 'older' kids like your 11 year old. I also like the theming.
If you can, request a room in the Cabanas section you will optimize your location to the pool and the main lobby building.
