Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello everyone!! We want to plan our first family vacation to Disney during off season times best to do it online or go through a travel agency?

- Hello Karen!
It's very exciting to plan your very first Walt Disney World vacation. In general, the rates offered on the Walt Disney World website are the same rates a Travel Agent will offer, however, many Travel Agents who specialize in Disney Parks vacations will continually look for new offers to apply to your reservation, thereby saving you money. Several Travel Agents will also offer to book your Advanced Dining Reservations, FastPass+ selections, and other tours and special experiences.
If you're like me and a very hands-on planner, using a Travel Agent may not be for you. I enjoy being in control of our reservations and there are many resources online (you've already found one in the Disney Parks Moms Panel) to help make planning your vacation a breeze. You can call the Walt Disney World Travel Company at any time to make changes and adjustments to your vacations, including applying discounts you may be eligible for.
In the end, it's really all a personal preference. If you're a planner by nature, handling the magical details yourself is the way to go, and we're always here to help. Either way, you're going to Walt Disney World for the first time and that promises to be a vacation you'll never forget.
See ya real soon!
