Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Does anyone have any suggestions of what type of bag to take with you to the parks every day? I will be with a 4 and 6 year old, and we will be takng our stoller. I have no idea what type of bag to pack (purse, backpack, etc) so that we have all we need.

  • Hi there Kelly! I am the official Bag Lady of the Moms Panel. I admit, I do carry A LOT of stuff with me to the parks, but I do it out of love. My family has lots and lots of needs. I hear, "MOOOOMMMMMM!" or my favorite, from my husband, "Honey, did you bring the. .  ." So I have to come prepared.

    Bag Number One
Bag number one is our large, zipper topped bag. In here I keep a bathing suit and a change of clothes for the Princess, any medications, a towel, sunscreen, bug spray, bandaids, sun visors, sweaters, any other random stuff that my family piles in.

    Bag Number Two
This is our soft cooler. I carry bottled water, snacks, trail mix, fruit, juices.

    Bag Number Three
This is my own personal bag. It is smaller, sometimes a girly, little backpack. But right now I carry a Coach swing pack that I hang around my neck. This is where I keep any valuables, park tickets, my ID, lip gloss and other cosmetics.

    Alternate Bag Number Four
The bottom compartment of the stroller. Holds anything that doesn't fit into bags 1 through 3.

I strap all the bags to the handles of the stroller. The only one I take with me on the rides is Bag number 3. You can scale this down for your families purposes, but this is how we roll. Have a magical trip!
