Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are going to Disney April 2010 with our 12 month old son and wanted to mail a package of baby supplies ahead of time. How can I do this, where do I mail it?

  • Hi Kristin,

You can absolutely ship a package ahead of time.  I find this very convenient and sometimes more economical due to some airline carriers' expensive baggage fees. Its also one less thing you'll have to worry about during your travels so you can focus on your sweet baby boy.

Ship your package directly to your resort. In addition to the mailing address also include "Hold for Guest (insert your first & last name) arriving on (insert arrival date)" on the mailing label.  Contact your resort directly to obtain the correct mailing address. Let me know if you need assistance with this and which resort you'll be staying in during your visit.

When you check in, tell the Cast Member that you have shipped a package to yourself. If they don't have it handy, they can bring it to your room. I'd recommend taking anything with you that you'll need immediately upon arrival in the event they don't have it near the check-in desk.

Many resorts have a shipping location on site so I always go ahead and take a label addressed to myself with me so that I can use the same box to ship home souvenEARs or other items I get while I'm there. Okay - Okay - I confess - sometimes I ship back my laundry back because I can't wait a couple of days for my souvenEARs to arrive once I'm home.

Wishing you many magical memories :-)
