Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I will be traveling to Disney World in May w/ my husband, mother and 3 young children. I have a 3 yr old and twin 2 yr olds. Any suggestions on things to do for such young children to enjoy? Or any tips on Disney in general with such young kids? Thanks!

  • Hi Sara!

Congratulations on your family's visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! The entire family will LOVE it!

I think your children are at a wonderful age to enjoy several rides and attractions while taking in the magic of Disney! You will be surprised at the relatively small number of attractions with height restrictions throughout the Disney Theme Parks. Be sure to spend some time exploring the New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom.

If your children still nap, plan on taking a mid-day break back at your Disney Resort Hotel. It's nice to enjoy swimming and other resort recreation options before heading back to the theme parks for evening fireworks. You can also read my friend Leslie's excellent advice on how to enjoy the parks while traveling with small children HERE and HERE.

Wishing you a most magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
