Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- While looking at hotel amenities, I noticed that most have some sort of child care but only 2 have babysitting. what is the babysitting and can it be used for an infant (20 months). And is the Kids night out service available for all hotels at WDW?

- The two types of sitting available at WDW are the child care centers and in-room babysitting.
All the child care centers are in deluxe hotels (Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Yacht and Beach Club), but guests staying at any of the WDW hotels may use them. The child care centers only take potty-trained children, age four to twelve. The centers do take reservations and it is a good idea to make them. They open in the late afternoon and will serve your children dinner (which you select from a limited menu). There are movies, games, and planned activities for the children, as well as an area for rest as the evening gets later. You can get current pricing and make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
In-room babysitting is available for all the WDW hotels. Disney contracts with a few companies to provide in-room sitters, including Fairy Godmothers (407-277-3724), Kid's Nite Out (kidsniteout.com). These sitters will watch smaller children and infants and, under some circumstances, special needs children. The sitters generally come to your room with a games, books, or small craft projects. They will put the kids to bed and then stay in the room until you return. To arrange for an in-room sitter you need to contact one of the companies above directly.
