Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are planning a vacation to DW in march of 2008 and will be staying at the beach club. We will be getting in around noon. I was wondering what is the best thing to do on the first day after a early morning flight?

  • Depending how long your flight was, and if your room is indeed ready, sometimes they are ready as early as noon.  You could always pack in your carry on your bathing suits, and head to one of the water parks.  The great thing is if you have kids, they can swim and play, and you can relax a bit, until your room is ready.  There are towels at the water parks you can rent for a nominal fee.  You can also change once you get to the parks or change at the hotel prior to leaving.  You could also just stay at the hotel, because, I know my kids think that the Yacht and Beach Club Resort have the coolest pool, its called Stormalong Bay.  You won't have to leave the resort at all.  The kids call it a mini water park.

If you're not too tired, hit a park, perhaps you made dinner reservations and will want to go to a park closer to where you are going to eat.

    Enjoy!!  Heather M.
