Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi moms, weve never tried out the boardwalk before, but I am eager to explore with my family on our next trip. What is the easiest and quickest way to get there from CB resort? And what are some recommendations of things to do for a group of six Brits?

  • Hi Lizzie,

I absolutely love Disney's BoardWalk! Here are a couple of options for getting to the BoardWalk from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Since you cannot get a bus directly between the two resorts, you could take a bus from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. From there, you can either take a boat to Disney's BoardWalk, or you could walk. This is about a 15 minute stroll. This method, while it includes a relaxing boat ride or stroll, may take a while. If time is of the essence, I recommend that you take a cab. Simply ask the cast members at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to call a cab for you. You will have to pay for the cab, but it should not be too expensive.

At Disney's BoardWalk, I would start by walking around and taking in the ambiance of the area. You can take a nice walk around Crescent Lake, which will also take you by Disney's Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. If you prefer, you can rent a multi-person surrey bike to pedal around the lake, which is really fun! If you are looking for a place to eat and have a slightly adventurous appetite, my family really enjoys Kouzzina by Cat Cora for delicious Mediterranean fare. If your appetites are more burgers and fries, try Big River Grille & Brewing Works, where they brew their own beer. At night, the BoardWalk comes alive with lights and is absolutely beautiful. To end your evening, you can play carnival-type games along the BoardWalk and take in the atmosphere of street performers such as magicians. If everyone in your party is 21 years or older, you can enjoy Jellyrolls, a dueling piano and sing along bar which is a great time!

Have a great time planning your trip, Lizzie, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
