Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Staying POFQ in Aug for 4 days to try the waterparks with DH, and 2DD (7&10) Have a 1 day park admission with waterpark and more pass. Can you tell me a bit about evening activities at the boardwalk or other suggestions beyond DTD to do at night?

- Hello Margaret,
I think nearly everyone on the Moms Panel knows my love for Port Orleans French Quarter. But then you mentioned the BoardWalk and then I thought about all the other possibilities for fun nightlife activities and I got all excited to answer your question!
The BoardWalk really comes to life at night. There are street performers (my favorites are the magicians...I mean, how do they really do that?!) and midway games. The kids really enjoy both. Or you can rent a surrey bike and take it for a spin around the pier. Now if you're looking for something for a date night, not only are there some great dining options at the BoardWalk like Kouzzina but there's Jellyrolls, a dueling piano bar. Or if you want to walk just off the BoardWalk over to the Swan Resort, there's a karaoke bar at Kimonos!
Another thing I really love to see while I'm at Disney only takes place at night: the Electrical Water Pageant. It takes place each night weather permitting on Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The floating parade can be seen from the beaches of the
Monorail Resorts and the Fort Wilderness Marina and Beach.
Now, because you're staying at POFQ, how about heading over to River Roost Lounge over at Port Orleans Riverside to see Yehaa Bob? He leads a singalong many nights during the week. And even though it's in the Lounge, it's still family friendly, so feel free to bring the girls.
These are just some of my favorite ideas. I hope they help! Enjoy your trip!
