Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Do you need to wear suit and tie for any of the dining experiences or is casual attire all that is required?
- - Asked by Charles from North Carolina on 3/4/2008
- Hi Charles! Walt Disney World is a casual family resort. For the most part, if you are dressed in nice, "play clothes" you are fine for most restaurants. Walt Disney World's signature restaurants, has a "business casual" dress code. That means nice pants, jeans, dress shorts, T-shirts, long sleeved shirts with a collar, skirts, dress shorts or dresses. Basically what you would wear to a nice casual restaurant when at home.
The only exception is the very formal Victoria and Albert's in Disney's Grand Floridian. At almost $300 for two, that makes sense! At Victoria and Albert's, a dinner jacket is required for gentlemen (tie optional) and a dress or pants ensemble for ladies.
My husband is taking me there in a few months for our 10th anniversary. He is wearing a tuxedo, and I will be dressed like a princess who lost her shoe.
Have a magical trip!
