Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • If we are checking in to our hotel on Sat nite and want to do an early morning ressie at Tusker House that day, can we use our DDP? Do we have to check in at the resort first? Can we check in that early or do online checkin to activate our dining plan?Thx

  • Hi, Allison!

Not to worry, Mickey has this taken care of for you!

First, be sure to complete Walt Disney World Resort's Online Check-In, so that your check-in materials will be pre-printed and set aside for you prior to your arrival. I've found that this saves a tremendous amount of time at Check-In, so this is surely the way to go for you, too. When you pick up that check-in material you'll activate your Disney Dining Plan. Don't worry about what time you arrive, as there will always be Cast Members available at the front desk, happy to assist you.

Leave your bags at your WDW Resort hotel's Bell Services and head right to Animal Kingdom's Tusker House Restaurant where you'll enjoy a delicious buffet, hosted by Donald Duck and Friends. Linger as long as you like at the park and return to your resort whenever you're ready to do so. You can select to be notified via cellphone when your room is ready...but you might not be ready to return just yet! No worries, Bell Services has your bags secured and your room will patiently await your arrival.

Doesn't that sound like a MAGICAL first day at Walt Disney World?

Have a fantastic trip, Allison! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, too; we love to help!
