Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I'm going to Disney in January for my honeymoon - neither my husband nor I eat meat. Is a dining plan worth it for us?
  • - Asked by Tricia on 9/3/2008
  • Hi Tricia! I just got back from two weeks at Walt Disney World and I don't eat meat or dairy and I think I gained 3 pounds! We were celebrating our 10th anniversary, so food was high on our list of fun!  I enjoyed amazing gourmet meals at:

    Victoria and Albert's
    The Wave(new)
    San Angel Inn
    Flying Fish
    Yak and Yeti

And more! I even had a huge non dairy Rice Dream Banana Split at Beaches and Cream at the Disney's Beach Club! The counter service restaurants have great salads, veggie burgers, roasted vegetable wraps, you name it. You want to check out this great site ALLEARSNET.COM. They keep updated menus of all of the Walt Disney World restaurants. That should give you a good idea of the bounty there.

When you make your dining reservations (and you MUST have reservations) let them know and the chefs will be prepared for you! Congratulations and have a great honeymoon!
