Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family is arriving at WDW on 2/23 for 1 week. We have never saw fantasmic before and would like to make this a priority. I'm debating whether to do the dinner package or not, but I would prefer not to unless we have to get into line really early.

- Hi Michelle!
You will have a wonderful vacation, February is a great time to visit Walt Disney Parks! I have viewed the Fantasmic! show with and without the dinner package. If you are going to do the package, I would suggest Mama Melrose, it has excellent italian food with a cupcake dessert decorated like spaghetti with a meatball on top!
You do not have to do the dinner package to get great seats for Fantasmic! In my first experience with the show, we got in line an hour ealry, but now I know you can wait until 15 minutes before or when the gates open. Especially if you are going on a off peak time of the year, which you are. If you are really worried and do not want to do the dinner package, I would suggest going to Hollywood Studios ealry in the week, when the park is not as full such as Monday - Wednesday.
The best seating for Fantasmic! is at the top center of the theatre and they seat those last, or only if you have the dinner package. These seats let you get out after the show ahead of the crowds also. If there are two shows the evening you are going, go to the first one and you will not have a problem getting in.
Don't forget about the dessert at Mama Melrose!
