Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Can you use the disney dining plan for Fantasmic Dining Experience & if so is it one or two dining points
- - Asked by Shawn from New York on 12/29/2011
- Hi Shawn! I absolutely love the Fantasmic! show at Disney's Hollywood Studios! It is one of my favorite fireworks displays because it combines all of my favorite Disney characters with music, water, lights and fireworks! It is a must see when visiting Walt Disney World.
I'm also happy to report that yes, you can use the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) for the Fantasmic! Dining Experience!
The Fantasmic! Dining Experience includes dinner at either Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano or Hollywood & Vine. All packages include a special pass for seating at that night's Fantasmic! and dinner in the chosen restaurant. The package includes a special seating pass that allows guests to sit in a reserved section of the theatre. This means that you only have to arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the showtime and head directly to your seats, rather than waiting in line for 60-90 minutes outside of the theatre.
Hollywood Brown Derby is a signature dining experience (with an infamous grapefruit cake and cobb salad that are delicious), therefore it requires two table service credits from your DDP. Both Mama Melrose and Hollywood & Vine only require one Table Service credit. There is no additional charge for the package itself, but reservation must be guaranteed at the time of booking with a credit card, although it will not be charged (unless you are a no-show or the reservation is not cancelled 48 hours beforehand.)
All you need to do is call 407-WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance and request the Fantasmic! Dining Experience at Hollywood Brown Derby, Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano or Hollywood & Vine.
I hope you have a magical time at Disney World and enjoy the Fantasmic! show! Take lots of pictures because the show is an experience you will want to remember forever!
