Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi, excited that we were able to get dinner reservations to Be Our Guest, but the only availability was the night we planned to do Hoop Dee Doo Review. We haven't done either before. What would be the better choice for a family of 4 w/ 2 boys (6,8)?

You can probably ask ten different Moms Panelists this question and get eleven different answers. Luckily, I'm never shy to give my opinion.
I would hit Hoop Dee Doo over dinner at Be Our Guest. You can always try Be Our Guest for lunch this visit and hopefully dinner on your next visit.
Hoop-Dee-Doo is a wonderful family experience. Hoop-Dee-Doo is one of Disney World's longest running dinner shows, and it's easy to understand why. The show is entertaining, the cast is talented, the atmosphere is festive, the jokes are plentiful (and corny), and the food is finger-licking tasty.
Hoop-Dee-Doo is a vaudeville-style dinner show with a country twist. Dinner is served family style and includes favorites like fried chicken, smoked bbq pork ribs, fresh corn bread, strawberry shortcake and the most delicious country-style baked beans I have ever tasted. The food and most drinks are all-you-can-consume, so you'll leave satisfied.
As you enjoy the food, the extraordinary Hoop-Dee-Doo cast puts on a show full of dancing, singing, and comedy. While theoretically there may be a cynical young adult or two out there who may be too cool for some of the corny humor, your children seem to be at the right age to really get a laugh from the jokes. Hoop-Dee-Doo is very interactive and the cast frequently takes the show from the stage and into the audience to sing songs and engage the guests. Towards the end of the performance, a handful of lucky audience members are asked to join the show for the grand finale.
Enjoy your vacation.
