Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • When making a dining reservation do I need to count a one year old who will be in a high chair as a person? Even though he is not taking up a traditional seat in the restaurant? We are a family of 5, with three children, 12, 7, and 1.

  • Hi Tim!

Yes, you should add all of your children (even the child that is under 3 years old) to the total number in your party for your Advance Dinning Reservations because the restaurant needs this information to get you the right sized table and to calculate restaurant capacity.

I hope that you have many amazing dining experiences with your family on your next vacation at Walt Disney World!
