Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We're visiting Disney for their VMCP this December. I've tried to make character dining reservations but there are none available. Can you just go to the restaurant and leave your name & wait to be seated or do you have to have reservations?

- Hi Susset,
The Character Dining Experiences are very popular and are normally filled up, up to 180 days in advance of your arrival date and therefor it is very difficult to secure these popular dining experiences at the last minute, but it's not impossible to find a possible cancellation spot open up if you keep trying daily until your date of arrival. If this fails, depending on which location your are hoping to dine at (some will be easier to hope for a walk-up on the same day of dining than others), you may be able to get in during the same day if they had last minute cancellations or other spots "magically" open up. There is no guarantee, but it can't hurt to try (it's worked for me a couple of times and at other times I tried, I have been told "no chance!", so I would give it a shot if I were you). I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you are able to secure a spot at your favorite dining location during your trip!
