Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Planning a Sept 2009 vacation & wondering if with the children being 3 & 5 at the time will the dining pass be the best thing for us and are we allowed to have it since we will be staying off the WDW grounds?
  • - Asked by LIANNE from Ohio on 2/12/2008
  • Hi Lianne,

Currently, you must be residing at a Walt Disney World Resort to purchase the Dining Plan.

However, if you think you may stay on-site, the Dining Plan could still be a value to your family even at ages three and five. The Basic Dining Plan is a bargain for children at approximately $10.

It also allows you to prepay some of your vacation ahead of time which I love.  It is a smaller credit card bill to come home to pay.

    I hope this helps!
    Beth
