Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Planning a Character Dining at Tusker House. Debating between breakfast or lunch. If Magic Hours are for 8am that day and we want to get a early Safari Ride would it be better to use the magic hours and do lunch ? Thanks :)

- Hello Shalasha. Thanks for asking your question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My favorite character meal is at Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom. I am so excited to see that you are considering dining there, you will have a great time. Have you considered making a dining reservation for around 10:30 am? That is my favorite time to dine at Tusker House. Dining right at 10:30 is great because the breakfast buffet offerings are still out but during your meal the buffet switches over to the lunch items. It is like getting two meals for the price of one! Both the breakfast and the lunch are great and this is a perfect way to experience both.
If you arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom a little before the Extra Magic Hours and head to the safari when it opens, you will have no problem riding very early that day. After the safari, I would suggest heading to Expedition Everest and then on to Dinosaur. Those are very fun and popular attractions in Disney's Animal Kingdom. If you are utilizing the FastPass+ system, I suggest making your FastPass+ reservations for later in the day when the park tends to be busy.
Have a magical vacation and happy dining!
