Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • My family arrives to Disney at 2:30pm and we have a dinner reservation at Chef Mickeys at 6pm. Our hotel reservation is at the All Star Movie resort, should we just go straight to the Contemporary resort for our dinner reservation or to our hotel?

  • Hi Katherine,

I'm going to assume you are flying and your arrival to MCO airport is at 2:30? If so, you will want to ride Disney's Magical Express to your resort, check in, and then proceed to the bus stop area. Because the buses do not travel to and from Resort hotels, you will need to hop onto a Magic Kingdom bus.  Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you can either walk a 10-minute pathway to the Contemporary or ride the monorail (my family's favorite mode of travel!), as either will be a very easy way to get you to Chef Mickey's. Arriving at 2:30 will allow you plenty of time to first check-in at your Resort hotel, then head to the Contemporary ... no worries!

Any other questions, Katherine? I'm happy to help plan a magical vacation!

    Best wishes,
    Sherri
