Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My son is 10 years old and I was wondering what restaurants I should take him to that a Boy would love? Any restaurants we should not miss? We are arriving on June 29 and leaving July 9. This is our First WDW Vacation.

- Hi Terrea! How excited you all must be in anticipation of your first visit to Walt Disney World! I have three dining suggestions that I think your son will enjoy.
First, the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge is a must-do for a crazy, anything-can-happen dining experience. Waiters who say and do the unexpected, and riding stick ponies around the restaurant are just some of what may happen! If your son is interested in seeing characters, Chef Mickey's is a buffet-style restaurant located in the Contemporary Resort, offering lots of kid-friendly food choices and a chance to meet Mickey and his pals. My own children always enjoy the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Waiters on roller skates serve you in a vintage "car" under the stars while you watch hilarious clips from old sci-fi movies-it's a really unique dining experience!
I would recommend you make advance reservations up to 180 days prior to your arrival by calling
407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) or use the online reservation system.
Have a wonderful visit-hopefully the first of many to come!
