Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hello Disney Moms, My mother and I are taking my 13 year old son to Disney. He is a very picky eater. Would we be able to order chicken strips for him if they are on the kids meal but not on the adult menu? We will not be using the dining plan. Thanks

  • Hi again Nadia! No worries at all about ordering off of the kids' menu. Disney restaurants are most accommodating, and will do what they can to keep your son happy and well fed! Often times, they will make a larger portion of a meal for older children, and price it accordingly. The rule of thumb is don't be shy - ask and they will work with you, doing what they can.

A great option for picky eaters are the many buffet and family-style restaurants. My often picky daughter loves going to the buffets, where she can pick and choose whatever she wants.

Hope this helps Nadia! Write back with any other questions!
