Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I am coming to run the Princess Half 2015. It's on my 35th birthday!! Would you suggest going to the parks before or after the race? And are there any discounted packages available for runners?

- Greetings, Stephanie!
How exciting you are preparing for the 2015 Disney Princess Half Marathon! I can't think of a better way to celebrate your birthday than to participate in a race event designed to bring out your inner princess.
It's so easy on a runDisney-cation to get caught up in all the magic of Walt Disney World Resort that you can wear yourself out before you even get to the race. Couple trying to enjoy the parks all-day with a 2:30am race-day wake-up call (yes, you will need to get up that early) and you might not have the best experience on the course, especially if this will be your first endurance event.
My advice is to arrive a day or two before the race, as you will need to attend Disney's Fit For a Princess Health & Fitness Expo for packet pick-up, and save your hard-core park days for after the race.
As far as discounted travel packages go, they have not yet released information regarding special offers for 2015-- keep on eye on the highlighted link for runDisney Travel Packages.
Also, I recommend signing up for a runDisney Email Notification. This is a free service and will keep you up to date on registration information and race details. With races selling out in record time, I wouldn't want you to miss out!
I hope this information has been helpful, Stephanie! Please do not hesitate to ask any additional questions you may have as you plan and prepare for an enchanting experience at the 2015 Disney Princess Half Marathon.
