Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My husband and I need to get away. We have twin 4 month olds. Which is the best resort for infants? We probably won't even go to any parks, just want relaxation and great food in a baby-friendly environment with child care options. Would go in 2 weeks.

- Hi Alicia,
I'm sending you a virtual high five because Walt Disney World is the only place that comes to mind when my wife and I decide that it's time for a getaway!
When it comes to picking a relaxing resort hotel at Walt Disney World, you really can't go wrong with any of them. However, if I had to choose only one for you, it would be.....
Disney's Wilderness Lodge
This hotel is nestled in a secluded area, so it's very easy to find spots to hang out and relax without having too much hustle and bustle going on around you. The grounds are so beautiful and the waterfalls and streams that run through the center courtyard served as a natural form of white noise that helped my 15-month-old son conk out every night when we were last there.
Since you're on the hunt for great food, you'll be well taken care of there! Artist Point is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere (not just in Walt Disney World!), Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of the most "fun" restaurants I've ever experienced, Roaring Fork is a solid choice for no-fuss meals, and the Territory Lounge has awesome tapas-style offerings in the evening hours.
With respect to your question about childcare, there might be a slight issue unfortunately. The in-room babysitting services for all hotels at Walt Disney World are for children between the ages of 6 months and 12 years. So, you might want to either wait a couple of months or bring a family member along if you want a few dates with your husband during your vacation.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you'd like any additional tips and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.
