Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- will we spend a considerable amount of travel time on the buses from the all stars vs. the caribbean beach? we view hotels as just a place to lay our heads at night, but don't want to spend a ton of time on buses b/c we stayed at the value resort.

- Hi Kim,
To be honest, you will spend approximately the same amount of time on buses whether you stay at a Value or at the Caribbean Beach Resort. The CBR is so large, it can take a while just stopping at the different "villages" to drop various people off at the end of the day.
If the time on the bus is the only issue that is your deciding factor between a Value Resort or the Caribbean Beach, I say go with a Value. Having recently stayed at CBR, I actually recommend the Value Resorts over it. This is because at the Value resorts, the food court, lobby, gift shop and bus stops are all in one central location. At the Caribbean Beach, they are in different locations. My room was a 10 minute walk from the food court, and at least that far from the lobby (in a different direction). In fact, they offer an "inter-resort shuttle" to get around there (because it's so large). This isn't necessary at a Value Resort. If you are looking for just a place to crash after a long day, save the money and book a Resort like Pop Century or one of the All-Stars. Those actually have bright, cheery rooms and I love how everything is centrally located.
Hope this helps and have a wonderful vacation!
