Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are flying into MCO and taking the Magical Express to our resort (PC). just wondering how the timing works for the bus (does it leave right away or sometimes have to wait 30 mins?)
We also have to rent a car so not sure how much time we should give?

- Hi Kaitlyn!
Typically, I budget 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get to your Walt Disney World Resort from the Orlando International Airport using Disney's Magical Express. You may have to wait for your Magical Express bus for up to 30 minutes or walk right on a bus (typically Magical Express is very good at getting buses for people that are waiting in line). I have had trips where Magical Express only took 1 hour but I have had some that it took around 2 hours to get to my Resort depending on the time of day, the amount of people arriving at the same time, and how many Resorts your Magical Express bus stops at before your Resort. Usually the Magical Express bus will make stops at 2 to 4 Resorts when dropping guests off at their Walt Disney World Resort. The order of the stops is not set in stone and it is not the same each time so I would be unable to give you an exact time of arrival at the Pop Century Resort, but an 1 1/2 hours after you land in Orlando is a good estimate of your time of arrival. I have used Disney's Magical Express service over 20 times since 2007 so I do have a lot of experience with Magical Express and I love this service! I'm not sure if you are picking up a rental car at the airport but that shouldn't take very long because the car rental places are right on the same floor as Magical Express at the Orlando International Airport (you will pass by the car rental counters as you are on your way to Magical Express).
I hope that next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
