Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We're considering a 5 day stay at WDW, Art of Animation Resort, Coronado Springs Resort, & Animal Kingdom Lodge. Is the $3000 for AKL price different from the value resort REALLY worth it? What are the travel time between the resorts to Magic Kingdo
  • - Asked by Renee from Indiana on 12/23/2012
  • Hi Renee!

These Disney Resorts are in the Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Disney Resort Hotel categories. Ultimately your choice will depend on a variety of factors such as, budget, the size of your travel party, location, and resort theme preferences. To decide if Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL) is "worth it," first determine what type of resort experience you'd prefer to have during your stay.

AKL is an AMAZINGLY themed resort offering a wide variety of recreational activities and luxurious amenities. You'll find some excellent dining options there such as Jiko and Boma. If you have animal lovers in your group, I highly recommend booking a Savanna View Room. There's nothing like it! Read more about AKL HERE and HERE.

To learn about the commute time between AKL and MK, please read HERE. Travel time between Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (CSR) and Magic Kingdom (MK) will be approximately half an hour. Read more about CSR's transportation HERE. To learn about the commute between Disney's Art of Animation Resort and MK, please read HERE.
