Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I am not understanding the bus situation. I am wanting to go to chef mickey's and i am staying at coronado springs resort. Will the bus just take me to that hotel from my hotel. Will they have a schedule of buses when you get to your hotel?

- The WDW bus system does not offer direct transportation between the resorts (hotels). In order to travel between many resorts on WDW property, you must transfer at a hub such as one of the theme parks or Downtown Disney). The exception would be traveling between resorts that are in close proximity to each other. For instance the Boardwalk Resort is a boat or short walk away from the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.
From Coronado Springs Resort, you can take a bus to the Magic Kingdom. Then to get to Chef Mickey's, you can either walk to the Contemporary Resort (it's very close!!) or transfer to the monorail.
Unfortunately, much to my dismay, there is not a bus schedule. You will go to the bus stop at your hotel and wait for the next bus to your destination. Each bus will have a sign stating where it is headed. Note that the Animal Kingdom bus often stops at Blizzard Beach as well.
Resort to resort transportation can be a bit confusing at first. But once you figure out your nearest and/or quickest transfer hub then the system will start to make more sense.
Once you become familiar with the parks that are closest to each resort, then getting around WDW becomes easier.
